#Messages app android cant schedule text code#
Like right now 4 times it has decided it needs to lock and either enter the pass code or use my finger. Biggest issue is my screen will randomly lock when I'm using my phone. However, now I have the same issue again along with more issues, wifi not connecting or refusing to find wifi, RCS constantly turns off and on by its self when it feels like it. As well in Mobile Network > Network Mode > Made sure it was set to LTE/CDMA. They went into the Settings > Connections> Mobile Network >Enhanced Calling and turned it off. The phones have features that are not compatible with the current system.
Due to the new phones being 5G phones and the towers not being 5G yet is causing issues. The local US Cellular Premier Location in Oklahoma told me this was the issue. Upgraded because I had to not because I wanted to, husband's dog ate my Note8 screen literally. Yep, every frickin day since July 7th when I upgraded from my Note8 to the Galaxy S20 Ultra with US Cellular. it would be nice to know if anyone else is going through anything like this. Has anyone else encountered anything like this? It's either a Samsung thing, a 5G thing, or an Android bug thing. it's so random, I'll get certain notifications, text with someone with no problem, but then no texts from other people, but then once I refreshed the phone with a power recycle, I'm bombarded with a bunch of notifications all at once. But then, a couple of hours later, it would happen again. T-mobile says it must be an app I downloaded, so I went through my apps, got rid of a bunch, and it appeared to work. I gave that phone to my son, because I upgraded to the new Note 20 5G and wouldn't you know it, same friggin issue. I called Tmobile, they did a bunch of tech check, and finally because they were unable to fix it, they sent me a new phone. It would work for a little while then it would do it all over again. I noticed a few weeks ago that I wasn't receiving text messages, then I noticed that I wasn't receiving other notifications for other apps like Facebook, Xfinity, Gmail, etc, and when I refreshed my phone by powering off, or restarting, i would be bombarded by notifications and text messages.
